Focus and Scope

Bima Cendikia: Journal of Community Engagement and Empowerment focuses on publishing scholarly works that explore and analyze practices of community service, empowerment, and social interventions across diverse fields. The journal serves as a platform for the dissemination of research findings, applied knowledge, and critical reflections aimed at addressing social issues and fostering sustainable development at local, national, and global scales.

The journal welcomes original manuscripts in, but not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Community service and participatory development

  2. Social innovation and empowerment programs

  3. Community-based education and health initiatives

  4. Economic empowerment and entrepreneurship development

  5. Environmental sustainability and disaster risk reduction

  6. Local wisdom and indigenous knowledge in community practice

All submitted articles undergo a double-blind peer review to ensure academic rigor, methodological soundness, and relevance to current issues in community engagement and empowerment.
