All open access articles published in Al Huda: Journal of Islamic Education and Society are released under the terms of the CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License), which allows the following:

  • Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapt: remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.

Copyright of the articles is retained by the respective author(s) without restriction. However, the author grants a non-exclusive license to Al Huda: Journal of Islamic Education and Society to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher, along with the commercial right to include the article in printed issues for sale to libraries and individuals.

Although the terms of the CC-BY-SA license do not restrict the author’s rights (as the copyright holder of their article, authors retain full rights to their work), by submitting to Al Huda: Journal of Islamic Education and Society, authors acknowledge the rights of readers and must grant any third party the right to use their article to the extent permitted under the license.
